To belong to an Association of Bowlers and Affiliates, whose aim to constantly improve the services offered to its members. The Association also strives, as a constant and on going policy to further enhance, the reputation and ideals of the Sport of Tenpin Bowling on a Local, National & Worldwide basis.
An Association Office, with a Full time Staff of dedicated workers, to answer queries on behalf of the membership and general public, as they arrive, and to fulfil the immense workload that a National Association accrues, throughout the year.
A Free Copy of the National Magazine (Go-Tenpin) to EVERY member registered to a Sanctioned league (worth on its own more than the charge of membership of the Association)
A full set of Rules, to govern members involved in sanctioned bowling, whilst in leagues & tournaments.
A fully printed Rule Book, (issued free upon first registration) and updated regularly at a nominal cost.
A membership card, sent out each year.
Personal Insurance (check with the Association for conditions & benefits)
The upkeep of a BTBA Website on the Internet, with a full list of benefits and services offered to members, including News, Diary, Rules, Tournaments, Coaching and much more.
Being able to bowl on Sanctioned lanes, tested and accredited on an annual basis, on behalf of the Association by BTBA trained lane inspectors.
The Right to bowl in Tournament Ranking Events sanctioned by the BTBA in order to have the chance to bowl for Team England.
The Right to bowl in yearly run and sanctioned Tournaments throughout the year, with full organisation, such as the BTBA Nationals, which are run for various levels of bowling, to suit both ladies & gentlemen, in teams or on an individual bowling basis.
The Right to Attend Courses run by the Association for the enhancement of Bowling Knowledge and with full accreditation upon the passing of a BTBA produced examination, i.e. Coaching Courses (3 levels), Lane inspection Courses, Disabled Bowler Courses.
To be Coached (if the Member wishes) by a qualified and accredited member of the BTBA Coaching fraternity.

Insurance of League funds
A Comprehensive selection of badges and awards for high games, high series, and split conversions, & badges for league officials, league champions etc.
The right of redress, for rule violations and other issues.
The Right of appeal to Local or National Associations
The paperwork involved with the successful running of a Sanctioned league
The right to be heard at Local & National level via league representatives.
To be part of, and registered to, the Local Association, whose jurisdiction the league falls under.

The right to be heard via the delegates in attendance at Local Association meetings.
The Right to Bowl in Local Association Tournaments, such as the County Championships.
The Right to bowl for selection to the Local Association County Team (which is organised and run by the Local Association) in order to bowl in the yearly run Inter-County Championships, (organised and run by the National Association for its members) The top three placings in both Ladies And Gentlemen (Adult & Senior) are guaranteed the option of 2 Games in that years County Teams.
To join the Local Association in the running & organisation of such events.

To be heard at the B.T.B.A. A.G.M. via an elected Local Association delegate.
