This was discussed at some length in the B.T.B.A. meeting of the 22nd June at Worsley, and could become the Lancashire County Area Championships, an annual competition run in a similar way to other counties Area Championships.

Likely to be run in May each year (but still to be confirmed), the Wilkinsons Sword Trophy will be awarded to the winner as the Albert Pursglove Award.
